POOL CYCLING - STATIONARY BIKE MOTION

Improve cardiovascular fitness and lower body strength through cycling movements.

How to Perform

  1. You may need to move to deeper water for this exercise so you do not scrape your feet.
  2. Hold on to the side of the pool and pedal your legs like you are riding a bicycle.
  3. Point your toes when your foot goes down.
  4. Maintain steady pedaling rhythm at a comfortable pace.
  5. Continue for prescribed duration.

Key Execution Cues

Remember: Pedal smoothly and rhythmically. Point toes at bottom of pedal stroke. Maintain upright posture.

Safety & Precautions

Important: Avoid if acute knee or hip injury. Do not force pedaling beyond comfortable range.
