Simply put, aquatic exercise effectively works muscles concentrically. This means that you engage both sides of the muscle with each movement, giving you the most effective workout possible.
Whether you are limited in mobility or are an athlete, you understand running, lifting weights, and other high impact activities might not be the best choice for you at this time. By using our aquatics fitness app, you can be sure you’ll get the exact, proper movements with no need to modify. With Ability Fix, you’ll experience faster recovery, pain relief, and a more efficient workout. You’ll be amazed at the results.
If you’re struggling with limited range of motion, injury, surgery, or obesity, most land-based fitness options will include exercises that are not suitable for you.

Here are the top 12 reasons you should give it a try!
Working out can cause you to sweat. Exercising in cooler water helps the body cool off faster and reduces the risk and discomfort of overheating. Warmer water optimizes flexibility.
Arthritis requires that the joints be moved every day. It’s easy to move your joints in the weightless environment of the water, and the benefits can be felt all day.
By merely changing speed, position, or adding some equipment, you can adjust your workout intensity in a way that’s best for you.
The water’s friction massages the skin as you exercise creating greater neurological feedback in all movements. Feeling the water caressing your skin is therapeutic and brain activating.
The water buoyancy eliminates the weight on your hips allowing for greater blood flow through hip joints and leg muscles. This help nourish the deep muscles inside the hip complex and low back.
Balance training can be done with more confidence using challenging postures and coordination exercises. Regardless of age, you will have less fear of falling. All you will do is splash not crash.
Feet and ankles can articulate more fully using greater range of motion while in water. Unloading the pressure on tiny bones in the bottom of your feet & heels helps restore comfortable movement.
Shoulders can be rehabilitated with the buoyant forces of water. Greater mobility is created in the shoulder complex restoring blood flow, restoring strength, and full range of motion.
Being fully suspended by using a flotation belt or large flotation noodle, you can reach legs and hips into longer strides and restore mobility and strength in the derrière and lower body.
Turbulence in water can be created to work against and is exponential to speed. Make a wave then push against that wave and you’ve got a workout of concentric muscle power in all directions.
Being deep in water is like wearing a full body compression stocking. The force of the water surrounding you moves blood more rapidly from your lower extremities back to your heart.
Waters’ psychological benefits stem from childhood enjoyment of being in water and playing. Those memories flood back as your body is buoyed and immersed in the beautiful blue.
